Open to all high school students and their parents or guardians no matter your instrument or experience level.
🎓 February 16, 2026 is also a Scholarship Audition Day! High school seniors planning to start college in Fall 2026 can take advantage of the opportunity to audition for scholarships while on campus. Details and scheduling are available on our scholarship page, click here.
Questions & Answers
Any high school student interested in studying music at Del Mar College is welcome, along with parents/guardians.
Just bring yourself, your questions, and maybe a notebook. If you plan to take a free lesson with a DMC faculty member, bring your instrument (except for piano and percussion, which we provide).
It’s completely free! Lunch is included for all registered participants.
Yes, but most students pick the one that best fits their schedule. February 16, 2026 is recommended for seniors, since it’s also a scholarship audition day.
