Don’t miss the Del Mar College Jazz Band with conductor Dr. Abel Ramirez as they perform their first campus concert of the fall semester on Saturday, Nov. 22. The Jazz Band will perform the music of Sammy Nestico, Chuck Mangione, Fernandez and many more. Guest soloists include DMC Music faculty Dr. Daniel Miller on trumpet and flugelhorn and Dr. Neil Sisauyhoat on congas and timbales. And, under the direction of Professor of Music Dr. Neil Sisauyhoat, the DMC Percussion Ensemble will perform after the Jazz Band with a program featuring folkloric music from Cuba, along with works by Chick Corea and Andrea Venet.
