- Can I register for classes before the Saturday event?
Since registration for the Summer and Fall semesters at Del Mar College begins on April 6, 2026, you can plan to register for your classes starting on that date. You can do this online through WEBDMC or in person at the Student Enrollment Center during their regular hours on all three campuses.
- Can I bring a guest to accompanying me to the event?
Yes, you can bring guests with you to the college registration event. Many colleges encourage students to bring family members or friends for support.
- How can I contact an academic advisor?
Del Mar College provides academic advisors for their various programs. During the registration event, you can expect to find advisors available to assist you with course sections, academic planning, and any questions you might have about your specific program.
- Will someone be there from Financial Aid?
Yes, there will be financial aid and advisors to help during this college registration event. Many colleges have dedicated staff to assist students and their families with understanding and completing financial aid forms, such as FAFSA, and to answer any questions you might have about your financial aid package.
- What are the guidelines for the Meningitis Vaccine and do I need the vaccine?
Due to mandates required by Texas Senate Bill 62, all new incoming students who are 21 years of age or younger will need to show proof of a meningitis vaccination at least 10 days prior to the first day of classes. Students will not be able to register until proof of vaccination or of a booster during the first five-year period prior to enrollment.
- What is you're a veteran, is there specific resources and benefits available to help me with the college registration process and financial aid/
We have a Veterans Resource Center that will provide support and guidance for veterans. They can help you with the registration process, including priority registration.
- Is there any other options to pay for college tuition besides FAFSA?
Absolutely! There are several alternative ways to pay for college tuition besides using FAFSA. Here are some options to consider: Scholarships, Grants, Work-Study Programs, Part-Time Work, Employer Sponsorships, Military Benefits, and Payment Plans.
